Stat Point Investment and Diminishing Returns

Investing raw stat points into Strength or Ki Power produces very small damage differences in late-game combat. Testing with over 1,000 unallocated stat points demonstrates that dumping everything into Strength yields only a 1,000 to 3,000 damage variance on light and heavy attacks. Damage output scales primarily from character level, transformation multipliers, equipment base stats, and enchantment fragments rather than raw attribute point distribution.

Because major offensive skills consume large percentages of Ki, most endgame players invest the majority of their points into Max Ki. Super Ki Explosion costs 50% of your Ki bar, while Human Extinction and Gigantic Burst consume significant portions as well. Reaching a high Max Ki pool allows you to cycle multiple high-tier skills before dropping to empty. To bypass Ki exhaustion entirely, equip the Adrenaline Pump utility item in your inventory, which refills your Ki directly to 100%.

Primary Transformations and Extra Forms

The two highest-performing main transformations are super saiyan rage and Legendary Super Saiyan. Base Legendary Super Saiyan provides slightly higher health and max Ki pools, whereas Super Saiyan Rage grants higher base Strength, Ki Power, and movement speed. Super Saiyan Rage requires defeating Goku Black or Zamasu in the Corrupted Rift, followed by consuming the Hope Soul to fight Fused Zamasu for the Divine Hope Key Crystal. Unlocking its final Righteous Fury tier demands 999 raid crystals gathered from infinite boss waves.

Pairing your main transformation with the Evil Mystic extra form bridges the stat gap between both transformations. Evil Mystic drops from the Super Buu raid on hard or insane difficulty. When brought to full mastery, Evil Mystic adds a 10% stat boost across health, Ki max, strength, Ki power, and speed. If Evil Mystic is unavailable, usable alternative extra forms include False Super Saiyan from the Jungle Time Rift, False Super Saiyan 2 from East City, or Ultra Super Saiyan 3.

For temporary burst phases, stack Kaio-Ken times 100 or Akari. Unlocking Kaio-Ken times 100 requires opening the Corrupted Jungle Island Rift after mastering all standard Kaio-Ken tiers. Activating Kaio-Ken times 100 raises your power level and stats by millions, but it rapidly drains health within twenty seconds. Akari comes from the Great Ape form and grants up to a 60% stat increase at tier 6, though it reduces your character speed and Ki capacity while active.

Optimal Equipment and Accessory Slots

Dragon Soul features ten equipment slots: three clothing pieces, hair, weapon, and five accessory categories. Selecting items with open enchantment fragment slots provides far more performance than relying solely on raw gear attributes.

  • Clothing: The True Immortal set from the Corrupted Destroyed Time Rift provides three enchantment slots on the shirt, two on the pants, and one on the shoes. The Super Buu set serves as a strong alternative that grants set bonuses when fully equipped.
  • Weapon: The Brave Sword delivers the best fighting style for close-range melee through fast swing speeds and heavy attack multipliers. For a dedicated ki build, the Power Pole dropped by Shadow Goku in the Blue Ice Fields provides superior baseline stats.
  • Hair: Hair pieces provide no innate attribute points. Equip any legendary rarity hair with an enchantment slot, such as Broly Z Hair.
  • Head: Demon Mark grants a flat 15% boost to all stats. Alternatively, the Super Cell Helmet includes an enchantment slot that exceeds the Demon Mark if slotted with a high-tier Saiyan Drip fragment.
  • Waist: The Dark Saiyan Tail dropped by the Zukin boss offers high strength and Ki power. Event alternatives include the Frost Saiyan Tail and Candy Tail.
  • Arms: Beowulf Gloves purchased for 1,250 raid crystals in the crystal shop feature two open enchantment slots. Super Buu Armbands offer a single-slot alternative.
  • Neck: The Broly Pendant dropped from the hard Broly raid includes an enchantment slot. Slotting Saiyan Drip cancels out its base negative stat penalties.
  • Back: The One Punch Man Cape awards 600 strength and requires character level 2,400. The Evil Orc Cape serves as a lower-level alternative.
  • Face: The Eye Patch purchased for 75 raid crystals in the raid shop provides an accessible slot.

Enchantment Fragment Rules and Stacking Caps

Enchantment fragments significantly enhance your build, but several fragment types have strict stacking caps:

  • Saiyan Drip: Boosts transformation attributes. Saiyan Drip effectiveness caps based on character level, allowing players to benefit from roughly two high-tier fragments at once.
  • Critical Strike: Hard-capped at two fragments across your entire equipment set. Equipping a third fragment does not increase critical strike chance.
  • Critical Damage: Hard-capped at three fragments across all gear pieces.
  • Health Regen: Hard-capped at three fragments regardless of individual fragment tier levels.
  • Iron Fist: Stacks up to a maximum cap of 25% bonus melee attack damage against NPCs.

To acquire top-tier fragments, make wishes to Shenron for enchantment fragments, which guarantees two epic fragments and one rare-plus fragment at tier two or above. Defeating the Great Ape NPC after completing the maid outfit side quest at Port Prospera guarantees an enchantment fragment drop on every clear.

Endgame Skill Loadouts for Raids

Clearing high-difficulty raids such as Broly Insane or Super Buu Insane requires skills that offer safe positioning, high burst damage, or utility stuns.

Human Extinction serves as the cornerstone burst skill for both Ki and hybrid builds. It drops from the Insane Buu raid at a 2% to 2.5% rate and deals massive multi-hit damage across large areas. Pair Human Extinction with Gigantic Burst, a beam skill obtained from the Insane Broly raid with a 1.25% to 2.25% drop rate. For utility and phase initiation, Big Bang Attack bought from Sora in East City for 500,000 Zeni reliably stuns bosses.

Instant Severence is a critical movement tool dropped in the Destroyed Future Rift. It acts as a rush move that consumes 0% Ki, allowing you to close distance immediately after draining your energy on heavy skills. For melee players, Dragon Uppercut obtained from the East City Time Rift delivers the hardest single-hit strike in the game. You can combo Instant Severence into Murder Grenade from the hard Super Buu raid, followed immediately by Dragon Uppercut to delete boss health bars.

To sustain stat growth once gear is assembled, continue daily level break cycles. After reaching the level 2,350 soft cap, complete Shenron power wishes for six levels, clear the One Punch Man quest in East City once every 24 hours for three levels, and spend remaining breaks grinding Kaio-Ken ghosts at the North Pole with stacked XP boosters.
