To use souls in Dragon Soul on Roblox, equip and consume a soul from your inventory, fill the bottom-left gauge to 100% by dealing damage, and press X to activate its unique moves or transformations.

Equipping and Consuming Dragon Souls

Every player stores acquired souls inside the in-game inventory. Press the menu button, head to the items menu, and open the souls tab to view your current collection. To put a soul into active rotation, select the desired item and click the consume or equip option.

Consuming a soul binds it directly to your character slot. If you already have an active soul running, consuming a new one automatically unequips the previous selection. Activating a Dragon Soul for the first time awards the Soul Awakening badge on Roblox.

Souls remain consumable items unless you lock them with specific upgrade items. If you swap to a different soul without a permanent lock, the unequipped soul is consumed and removed from your inventory. Keep duplicate copies or preserve high-rarity items before swapping styles.

Charging the Soul Gauge

Consuming a soul places an empty gauge in the bottom-left corner of the display. This meter tracks your progress from 0% to 100% and does not fill passively over time.

To build energy in the meter, hit hostile targets using melee punches or combat skills:

1. Attack world targets such as quest grunts, story bosses, or training dummies.
2. Monitor the percentage increment per hit, which varies depending on the soul rarity. Common and rare souls gain charge quickly, whereas zenkai souls like Beast Soul or God of Destruction increase by approximately 0.3% per landed strike.
3. Keep attacking until the meter reaches 100% and displays the ready prompt.

Switching servers or entering separate raid dimensions can wipe an unspent gauge back to 0%. When preparing for raid bosses like Dr. Gero or Broly, charge your meter inside the target raid server rather than building it in the main world beforehand.

Activating Soul Moves in Combat

Once the meter hits 100%, press the X key on your keyboard to trigger the soul. The activation process behaves differently depending on whether the equipped soul grants an instant attack or a full transformation state.

Single-action burst souls execute immediately upon pressing X. For example, the Exiled Soul opens a black hole vortex that pulls in and crushes nearby enemies for several seconds, while the Dual Soul fires a high-damage energy blast before your character returns to base form.

Transformation souls place your character into a powered stance featuring custom visual effects, distinct stat buffs, and fresh hotbar techniques:

• The savior soul enters a fiery combat form that replaces standard actions with Wanyudo, Buddha Fist, and Heaven's Wrath.
• The Confident Soul transforms into Vegito, granting Spirit Sword, Spirit Excalibur, and Spirit Saber.
• The hope soul equips a two-handed broadsword style and unlocks the Final Hope strike.
• Beast Soul triggers an animated stance that supplies Primal Instinct, Special Beam Cannon, Beastial Crash, and the Beastial Roar area blast.
• God of Destruction triggers an aura with a purple tail, giving access to Sphere of Destruction, Obliteration Storm, Termination, and Path to Ruin.

Some transformation abilities consume your remaining timer instantly. Activating Beastial Roar on Beast Soul deals heavy area damage but expels the rest of your soul energy, reverting your character to default form right after the blast finishes.

Preserving Souls with Perma Stones

Because consuming a new soul replaces the active slot, swapping builds normally destroys your active soul. The game provides Perma Stones to convert temporary pulls into permanent unlocks that can be equipped or unequipped without disappearing.

Perma Stones are purchased using Robux or GP through the store interface. The cost scales directly with the rarity tier:

• Uncommon: 250 Robux
• Rare: 500 Robux
• Epic: 1,000 Robux
• Legendary: 1,500 Robux
• Zenkai: 2,000 Robux

To bind a stone, open the inventory, select the Perma Stone item, and choose the target soul. Once bound, you can safely swap between that soul and other items whenever you change your battle strategy.

Methods to Acquire New Souls

Players can obtain new dragon souls through three in-game channels:

First, players can gather all seven Dragon Balls across the world map and learn how to summon shenron. Selecting the Dragon Soul wish grants a pull with a 0.01% chance for Destruction Soul, 0.99% for Savior Soul, and varying rates for Legendary and Epic options.

Second, the Spin NPC at Port Prospera offers random soul draws. Players can spend GP or Robux to roll individual slots or batch draws of 10, 50, and 99 pulls. Standard roll rates sit at 0.2% for Zenkai tiers and 1% for Legendary tiers.

Third, explore the map to locate shattered souls. Finding 4 shattered souls grants one spin attempt. There are 33 shattered soul fragments placed across Earth landmarks and 24 earned by completing main storyline quests. Shattered items reset on a daily timer, giving steady attempts without spending currency.
